We at Cartus Corporation and the family of companies at Cartus Corporation, our owner, (referred to as "Cartus," "we," "us," or "our") recognize the importance of protecting the privacy of certain information ("Information") collected about our clients' employees who become our customers and prospective customers and registered members of a membership group which is a client of our affinity division (collectively referred to as "Customers"). This privacy statement discloses what Information we gather, how we use it, and how to correct or change it. At Cartus, it is our intention to give you an understanding about how we collect Customer Information and the use we make of it in the course of our business. Information We Collect and the Reason We Collect itWhile most of the Information collected by Cartus is supplied by our clients, our suppliers, and our customers as part of the relocation process, we may, at times, ask you to update or confirm a subset of that information on this web site. Additionally, your information may be shared with third party suppliers (e.g. home inspectors, moving companies) where necessary to support the services we deliver. This Information will be used solely for the purposes of providing services in accordance with our contracts with our clients, which may include making Information available to your employer or membership group. In addition, we may collect Personal Information from client and potential client contacts. That information may be used by Cartus to market our services to those clients and potential clients. Cartus may disclose personal Information about you ("Personal Information") in special cases when we have reason to believe that disclosing this Information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be violating Cartus' terms of use or terms of service, or may be causing injury to or interference (either intentionally or unintentionally) with any of Cartus' rights or property, other Cartus Customers, or anyone else. Usage TrackingWhen you enter this site, we collect your IP (internet protocol) address for the purpose of system administration, to report traffic patterns through the site, and to audit the use of our site. We exercise commercially reasonable care in providing for secure transmission of your Personal Information between your PC and our servers. As a result, while we strive to protect your Personal Information, Cartus can't ensure or warrant the security of any Information you transmit to us or from our online products or services, and you do so at your own risk.
